Hercynia was the vast forest that coverd Germany and much of Europe in anchient times. It is said to have stretched from France all the way to the Carpathian mountains in the Ukrain.
It was reported that strange beasts such as unicorns and golden birds lived there.
This page features my art and imagenings of this amazing forest world. To me it is a place of myth , magick, beauty, life and also fear and superstition.
