Sorry no pictures

Hello .
I have been unable to upload any pictures to this blog for some time now. It is very frustrating and so far I cant find an answer. If you are interested in what I have been up to please head over to my facebook https://www.facebook.com/HercynianElf . It is not as visually pleasing but at least it works. I am not giving up on this blog yet but I am starting to worry that I might have to.

Craft fair

Hello. I had some trouble logging onto my google account so there hasn't been an update for quite a while. A lot has happened and a lot of art and craft has been done since I last posted. Firstly A friend and I recently took part in the big craft fair held 4 times a year. We had a great day out and got lots of idea's for the next one. Bellow are some pictures of my stall and some of the items I made. Amongst other things I had painted wine glasses, book marks original paintings and postcards.

I have also started modifying dyeing and painting up cycled clothe and I am very pleased with the results. I will be listing some of my tops on Etsy as soon as I get some good photos of them, so keep your eyes out. The top bellow was a regular t-shirt, it is trimmed to shape then painted with bleach and the hems are over locked.

flower fay.

Two new faerie paintings to share today. I finished both of these in the last couple of weeks but was unable to post them because of some computer problems. So first we have a sweet spring time flower faerie, done in watercolour and pen.

Then we have a forest elf or sprite also a bit spring timeish. Again done with watercolour and pen. I was originally a bit unhappy with how the flowers turned out in this picture, they look to small and bitsely but its not bothering me so much now.
Two fay done in very different styles but both very colourful and floral.

Rain rain rain.

just finished this tine picture, ACEO size. It was raining all day today. undeterred by the wet weather my friends and I went for a drive to a local national park for a swim in the rain. The gentle droplets on the surface of the water looked like sparkles, it was soooooooooo beautiful. Got home and painted this little rainy scene. What a wonderful cosy day.

Also I have been making some bookmarks for the craft fair in March. They are time consuming to make but fun.
Now for some cards and perhaps some glass painting.

more trees.

Just splashing around some watercolours today. Letting the paint do all most of the work. I dribble on the paint then tilt the page and let it run when it slows down i blow on it to make it spread out semi randomly.
